The Serbian agricultural robot AgAR is a universal robotic platform designed to perform a wide range of agricultural tasks, combining advancements in modern technology and artificial intelligence, which has been recognised in Europe and awarded in Poland.
The Agrotech agricultural fair in Kielce, held for the 30th time this year, is recognised as one of the most significant events in the agricultural industry. The Serbian IT company COMING had the opportunity to showcase its innovations, such as the AgAR robot, earning a medal and recognition from the fair.
"We are proud that our work has been recognised and awarded at the fair in Poland. Our AgAR robot was developed with the aim of optimising land cultivation and achieving better results with less effort and time. As a leader in innovations, COMING remains committed to developing high-tech solutions for both domestic and international markets," said Marko Tamburić, Business Development Manager at COMING.
The Agrotech fair programme focuses on presenting the latest trends in agriculture and forestry, as well as the most modern equipment, including tractors, combines, and machines that enhance work efficiency. Robots like AgAR represent a revolution in agriculture, as they transform the way food is produced.
AgAR integrates advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence and machine learning and can perform various tasks like ploughing, planting, spraying, irrigation, and fruit picking.
Each wheel of the robot can be positioned independently, allowing it to handle steep and uneven terrains. AgAR is a 100% electric platform designed to eliminate harmful gas emissions, with an autonomy of six to ten hours on a single battery charge, providing farmers with efficiency and time savings.
The development of the AgAR robot is the result of successful collaboration between COMING and the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Niš.
This team of experts dedicated over a year to research and development, with support from the Science and Technology Park in Niš and the Innovation Fund.
COMING (Computer Engineering) was founded in 1991 and is present in Belgrade, Novi Sad, Kragujevac, and Niš. With over three decades of experience, it has become synonymous with innovations in computing and IT.
COMING's software solutions are recognised in the domestic market, with a tendency to expand internationally, and the development of the AgAR robot further confirms the company's status as one of the leading in technological innovations.
