The WMG Foundation and its EUpravo Zato initiative marked their first anniversary by reflecting on achievements that have contributed to the development of economic, social, and environmental sustainability, as well as the spread of social prosperity.
Over the past year, the WMG Foundation has implemented a series of successful projects, among which the EUpravo Zato initiative stands out. This platform has positioned itself as key in strengthening mutual understanding and trust between Serbia, the Western Balkans, and the European Union.
Other significant projects include "Prevention as a Guarantee", which focuses on raising awareness about the importance of preventive healthcare, and "Empowering Youth", which contributes to improving education on climate change in primary schools. The EUpravo Zato initiative is present across various digital platforms. The portal serves as the leading communication channel, attracting one million visitors per month, while active and engaged social media channels ensure visibility of content among diverse target groups.
Thanks to authentic stories from people who have taken advantage of the opportunities offered by the European Union, as well as analyses of policies and reforms, the portal has become a reference point for anyone wanting to learn about European integration and the opportunities it brings.
"For a year now, EUpravo Zato has been a space for understanding and connection. We have learned a lot ourselves, grown as a team, and now continue to deliver stories that inform people about the opportunities the European Union offers," said Milana Petrović, the portal’s editor, on the occasion of the anniversary.
In addition to providing information, EUpravo Zato plays a key role in raising awareness of the importance of European policies, business opportunities, and reforms that are shaping the future of Serbia and the region. This project continues to serve as a bridge between citizens and the European Union, offering relevant, timely, and clearly explained information on key topics related to European integration.
The first anniversary celebration was an opportunity to reflect on the results achieved so far and to present future plans.
"In one year, we have achieved more than we initially planned. We have connected with numerous institutions and organisations, launched major and significant projects, and our EUpravo Zato initiative has become a key source of information on the European integration of Western Balkan countries. In the coming period, our priority is to expand our activities, with new important projects already in the pipeline," said Irena Petrović, Director of the WMG Foundation.
